When we first came to this land we discovered that it was full of Huaya trees, that’s why we decided to name the camp, “Huaya Camp”. Out of our deep respect for nature, we built the camp around these trees causing the least possible impact to the environment.
Today our camp is full of lush greenery and covered with Huaya trees.
Our philosophy is based on respecting and honoring Mayan culture around the Yucatan Peninsula and preserving the natural beauty that inspired us. One of our main purposes since we first started with this project was and still is to have the least impact on the land, which we are achieving.
We want to help you connect with your inner self, nature, your loved ones, and new people you might meet during your stay with us. That is why our motto is “the place that connects”.
